$1114.65 stolen by Paypal.
**Please Rate My Video Thanks**
I sold a set of wheels online. Buyer was happy with it, no complaint at all. Fedex with tracking on record. Out of nowhere Paypal locked my funds and said they have to “investigate it”.
Investigation result: “We’ll keep your money for 180 days interest free. Thanks.”
Both the buyer and I had no idea what the hack happened. Buyer never filed any complaint with Paypal or his credit card company.
I called Paypal a few times, they said the computer system randomly found my transaction as “high risk” and they’ll have to lock it for 180 days JUST IN CASE the buyer files a complaint.
180 days = 6 months = half of a year!!!!
Yes, you heard that right. Paypal was trying to protect themselves from a loss “just in case” the buyer wasn’t happy with the item.
In this case, my buyer was very happy with my item, and they kept my money for no reason at all “just in case” anyways.
The girl on the phone found no reason why Paypal would need to hold my money. “Sorry, that’s how we do business”.
This was NOT an international transaction.

Peter Schiff 3/12/09 – Fox Business Closing Bell
In this video Peter explains why we need savings, not credit. He reacts to an article written by Meredith Whitney (CEO of Meredith Whitney Advisory Group) in which she states “if credit is taken away from what otherwise is an able borrower, that borrower’s financial position weakens considerably.” She goes on to state that Americans need access to credit for a rainy day or for an emergency. Peter says that this is nonsense. He points out that you need savings for a rainy day, not credit cards.
